Joined by Peter de Jager, the duo presents a recital of mesmerizing French music rich with expression, charm and exoticism. This concert celebrates two of the most important and influential French composers of the late 19th and early 20th century: Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel.
Filled with evocative harmonies and melodies which evoke sensual images and ideas - this program explores the similarities and differences between the two composers through some of their most well known works arranged for oboe and piano. More importantly, it highlights their crucial role in the revolution of French music at the turn of the century.
